The Larivee Company Tours, Inc. has been involved in Ireland barbershop quartet and chorus travel since 1989, when the Sound Assembly Chorus (Wellesley, MA Chapter SPEBSQSA), directed by Leo Larivee, was featured at the first Irish Association of Barbershop Singers (IABS) Convention in Birr, County Offaly, Ireland. They returned to Ireland in 1991 as the featured chorus of the third IABS Convention. For over a decade, Leo has built on a wonderful relationship with the Irish. He provides annual coaching and sponsors others, so that they too can share their expertise with the Irish Association of Barbershop Singers. The Larivee Company Tours, Inc. arranges singing venues, organizes sight-seeing, and coordinates Interchapter Nights with local clubs. Our annual Gold Medal/Kerry Festival Tour balances touring, shopping, interchapter visitations, and the Kerry Festival and International Barbershop Harmony Weekend.
